And just like that, here we are again. Thanksgiving came on us fast didn't it? While I can find a thousand reasons to be thankful for, I want to take a moment and also acknowledge that we are entering a season that is difficult for many. Some are facing unexpected circumstances this year compared to last year. There are many trials and setbacks along this journey called life. And it is in those times that it may be difficult to find reasons to be thankful. To those facing difficulties I want to extend my thoughts and prayers, God has not forgotten you. In fact God promises to be close to the broken hearted. You are not alone, we are all in this together. And God will get you through it. So let me tell you what I am thankful for. I am thankful for God's unending love, his grace, his mercy. For reaching down and saving me, and for His Church. He is not distant but close, he is not silent but constantly speaking. I am thankful for you, for being the Church and sticking around despite challenges and even conflict at times. For serving, giving, praying, worshipping with us. I am thankful for my wife and my children, they make life enjoyable and fun. Now is your turn, what are you thankful for? Leave a comment (press "view on web browser" if you read this in an email to see comments). I hope you have an amazing week, and I pray God will strengthen you to get through the hard times for His glory. I, like what Pastor Jorge shared, am most thankful for God's provision of salvation from my sins, through His Son Jesus', life and sacrifice on the cross; for His written Word to instruct us and The Holy Spirit to lead and empower us. For God's love, mercy, provision and protection. For my husband, family, friends and church. For this wonderful nation of America, that God established for people to worship in, and live in freedom through His laws. And for the hope of an eternal home in heaven one day.🙂

I’m thankful for my family, friends, my country, and especially Jesus for coming down to earth and sacrificing himself for us so we could be with him in eternity.

I am thankful for all of God's blessings. I am thankful for not believing the devil's lies anymore. I am thankful for the family our Lord gave me. I am thankful for my health, my home and food that I receive everyday. And especially thankful for God's love and direction.
