Larry Long SOMETHING FOR LENT (Ash Wednesday, February 22, through Good Friday, April 7): This is for all who wish to participate. This year for Lent, The Gathering is going to celebrate this holy season by using my latest book, "Jesus Still Speaks: A Seven-Week, Forty-Day Lenten Devotional." This devotional uses excerpts from my previous book by the same main title, as well as Scripture readings, prayers, worship songs from the web, journaling, meditations by the authors, and original poetry. This book was co-written by my friend from college, Dr. Don Bouchard. If you wish to join in, text the word LENT to 432-242-8242. Books will need to be ordered prior to the end of this month to ensure they are here on time, so please respond quickly. And don't hesitate to share this with your friends. Messaging in our Church AppThere are several groups in our church app to engage in discussion. We will have one focused on our lent devotional. When you open up our app, make sure you log in then look for the chat icon on the top right corner and discover groups you can join there. Make sure you join the "my gathering" group for general questions, updates, and prayer requests. Join a Life Group
