 Hello! First of all, thank you for taking the time each week to read through my weekly update. Norma and I just came back from a Pastor’s and Spouses retreat our District puts together each year. We had a great time getting rest, spiritual nourishment, and fellowship with other Pastors in our district. I am so thankful for all of our teams who make The Gathering happen each week. I know you had a great time in worship and God’s word on Sunday. It may seem simple, but without our teams and staff The Gathering would not be possible, all of you have an impact in God’s kingdom every time you serve and worship with us. I am looking forward to seeing you soon at one of our gatherings. Below you will find a few updates, including plans for our Odessa campus. I am praying for you! ^PJ ODESSA CAMPUS NIGHT OF WORSHIPAs you know, The Gathering is expanding to Odessa. And before we begin to do many things we may think are necessary, we want to gather to worship, pray, and meditate in God’s word. Would you join us for an evening of worship and prayer for the future of our Odessa Campus? We will meet on Sunday, October 10th at 6PM at our Odessa Campus located at 3501 N Golder Ave, Odessa, TX 79764. Doors will open at 5:30pm. We are encouraging everyone to arrive early. Childcare will be provided up to 5th grade. In order to be prepared and make enough room for everyone, we are asking that you RSVP HERE. MIDWEEK STUDYJoin us on Wednesdays at 7. We are in a series of studies on the trustworthiness of the Bible. The question we are aiming to answer is if the Bible is really God’s word. And if it is, how do we know it? Our fellowship room is open at 6pm for those of you who would like to grab dinner and come eat at the church before study begins. Every Wednesday we provide childcare.
