This week's Podcast.
This week's podcast focuses on Romans 1:14-22 passage, in which Paul discusses the sins of idolatry and the unrighteousness of mankind.
We look at the message of this passage in light of the spiritual landscape of today, and consider how the modern world is still living out these sins.
We also look at how God's love and faithfulness can bring mercy and peace in the midst of difficult times, and the importance of taking ownership of our own spiritual journeys.
Paul gives some practical advice in this section, such as having a humble heart and maintaining a good conscience before God.
The gospel is a reminder of God's true character, as a faithful and loving Father.
Sunday's message releases every Thursday across different platforms (Apple, Spotify, YouTube) and also in our mobile app.

Something for Lent
From Ps. Larry Long
SOMETHING FOR LENT (Ash Wednesday, February 22, through Good Friday, April 7):
This is for all who wish to participate. This year for Lent, The Gathering is going to celebrate this holy season by using my latest book, "Jesus Still Speaks: A Seven-Week, Forty-Day Lenten Devotional."
This devotional uses excerpts from my previous book by the same main title, as well as Scripture readings, prayers, worship songs from the web, journaling, meditations by the authors, and original poetry. This book was co-written by my friend from college, Dr. Don Bouchard.
If you wish to join in, text the word LENT to 432-242-8242.
Books will need to be ordered prior to the end of this month to ensure they are here on time, so please respond quickly.
And don't hesitate to share this with your friends.
LifeGroups will be resuming pretty soon. Check them out and sign up for one here.
